October 19-21, join publishers, authors, and plain old book lovers for potlucks in the pavilion, readings, workshops, walks by the sea, and maybe even some karaoke at the Sou’wester Lodge and Trailer Park in Seaview, Washington.
Tickets for the festival will go on sale in July. To book your lodging for the festival, contact the Sou’wester directly and mention the Airstream Poetry Festival through Mother Foucault’s Bookshop.
Although “poetry” is in our name, we welcome prose with open arms, as well as multidisciplinary offerings with literary intersections. In addition to readings and workshops, the APF has hosted music, film, movement, and food, and we look forward to watching our little festival grow into its fourth year.
Watch for details forthcoming on our Airstream Poetry Fellowship program! We’ll select one poet for a Sou’wester residency in the Potato Bug trailer the week prior to the festival.
Publishers, authors, and artists: If you are interested in presenting at the festival with a workshop, table, or performance, please fill out this proposal form. Time and space is limited. We’ll finalize our program and sales spaces by July 15.
We’re also looking for sponsors for the festival! If you’re a business that would like to partner with us by placing your product or service amongst festival attendees (hint: writers need booze, food, recreation, and transportation), we are more than happy to sing your praises on our robust social media platforms and to send enthusiastic new audiences your way.
