MOUNTAINS chapbook release & reading – Navid Harmsen with Walt Curtis

May 24 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us May 24 for Navid Harmsen’s MOUNTAINS chapbook release celebration and poetry reading, with special guest Walt Curtis, Portland’s unofficial street poet laureate.

Navid Harmsen is a sometime poet and collector of beautiful old things, with an anthropology degree from Portland State University. After twenty plus years of scribbling poems on bar napkins and paper scraps, he finally made a little book. The poems have a lyrical and musical sensibility, addressing archetypal themes of nature and human meaning, but especially the intersection of the spiritual and everyday worlds. Join us for the release of his first book of poetry: Mountains.

Walt Curtis is the Street Poet Laureate of Portland.
