Workshop Anthology: A Benefit for Meadow and Submission

May 31 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Starting last September, Catie Hannigan, Erin Howe, Ally Harris, Kate Garklavs, Rob Schlegel, Mark Leidner and Jae Choi began meeting bimonthly for a writer’s workshop. We would love to share our language harvest with you.

This event will include select readings from the group of writers, books and other art objects for sale (to benefit either the artist or the organizations), and snacks and wine.

Entry is $5-10 sliding scale to support Meadow and Submission. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

Meadow is a creative space for women, LGBTQIA, gender non-conforming, POC, and and/or other marginalized artists and writers. Their current programs include a multi-disciplinary workshop series and the Field Guide, a quarterly publication. More info can be found at meadowresidency.org or on Instagram at @meadowresidency

Submission Reading Series is curated by blind online submission in Portland, Oregon. In the coming months, SRS is raising money to send two writers to our Airstream Poetry Festival in October! All proceeds from this reading will go towards lodging and travel. More info about our organization can be found at submissionpdx.org.
